In Thursday's non-league outing, the Glenbard West Hilltoppers (Glen Ellyn, IL) basketball squad beat the host Downers Grove South Mustangs (Downers Grove, IL), by a count of 54-37.
The Hilltoppers (14-9) will now prepare for their outing against Hinsdale Central (Hinsdale, IL). The Red Devils go into the West Suburban - Silver outing with a 7-14 record. In their last outing, Hinsdale Central defeated Johnsburg (Johnsburg, IL), 51-12, in a non-league outing.
The Mustangs now hold a 13-11 record. They play next when they host Addison Trail for a West Suburban - Gold outing on Saturday, January 21. Downers Grove South will clash with a Blazers squad coming off a 55-32 league loss to Willowbrook (Villa Park, IL). The Blazers record now stands at 7-14.
