Mancelona Ironmen (Mancelona, MI) backers were pleased Thursday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the visiting Ellsworth Lancers (Ellsworth, MI), 68-12 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Mancelona upgrades its record to 3-9 on the campaign. The Ironmen travel to Central Lake (Central Lake, MI) to play the Trojans in a Ski-Valley bout on Tuesday, January 24. The Trojans come into the bout with a record of 7-6. Central Lake won 60-18 in their recent league bout against Pellston (Pellston, MI)

Next up, the Lancers play the Harbor Light Christian Swordsmen (Harbor Springs, MI) in a Northern Lakes bout, on Thursday, January 26. Ellsworth will attempt to upgrade on its 3-7 season record.
