South Carolina High School Basketball - Greater Cabarrus Stallions edges Westminster Catawba Christian

January 19, 2023: Rock Hill, SC 29732

The Greater Cabarrus Stallions Stallions (Concord, NC) basketball nipped the host Westminster Catawba Christian Indians (Rock Hill, SC), 44-37 in Thursday's non-league test.

The Stallions (12-8) will now prepare for their test against Surry HomeSchool (Mount Airy, NC). The Runnin' Patriots go into the North Carolina Home Education - West test with a 14-6 record. In their last test, Surry HomeSchool got by Guilford Home Educators (Guilford, NC), 64-26, in a non-league test.

The Indians now own a 6-12 record. They play next when they host Hickory Grove Christian for a NCISAA Metrolina test on Friday, January 20. Westminster Catawba Christian will encounter a Lions squad coming off a 49-34 league loss to Metrolina Christian Academy (Indian Trail, NC). The Lions record now stands at 8-5.
