New England Tigers (New England, ND) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Hazen Bison (Hazen, ND), 44-37 in a league bout.

With the win, New England upgrades its record to 4-4 on the season. The Tigers travel to New Salem (New Salem, ND) to clash with the Holsteins in a non-league bout on Saturday, January 21. The Holsteins go into the bout with a record of 2-10. New Salem lost 58-27 in their recent league bout against Shiloh Christian (Bismarck, ND)

Next up, the Bison clash with the Hettinger/Scranton Black Devils (Hettinger, ND) in a B Region 7 bout, on Saturday, January 21. Hazen will attempt to upgrade on its 5-4 season record.
