In Thursday's non-league outing, the Parkers Prairie Panthers (Parkers Prairie, MN) basketball squad overwhelmed the host Long Prairie-Grey Eagle Thunder (Long Prairie, MN), by a margin of 51-16.
The Panthers (7-5) will now prepare for their outing against Brandon/Evansville (Brandon, MN). The Chargers go into the A Section 6 outing with a 2-7 record. In their last outing, Brandon/Evansville was trounced by Hancock (Hancock, MN), 61-38, in a league outing.
The Thunder now own a 1-10 record. They play next when they travel to Braham for a A Section 5 outing on Friday, January 20. Long Prairie-Grey Eagle will clash with a Bombers squad coming off a 66-27 league win over East Central (Sandstone, MN). The Bombers record now stands at 12-1.
