The Morristown Colonials (Morristown, NJ) basketball knocked off the host Morris Knolls Golden Eagles (Rockaway, NJ), 40-20 in Thursday's non-league test.
The Colonials (7-6) will now prepare for their test against Sparta (Sparta, NJ). The Spartans go into the non-league test with a 10-3 record.
The Golden Eagles now own a 4-5 record. They play next when they travel to North Hunterdon for a non-league test on Saturday, January 21. Morris Knolls will encounter a Lions squad coming off a 53-39 league loss to Ridge (Basking Ridge, NJ). The Lions record now stands at 3-8.
