The Palmerton Blue Bombers basketball team scored 36 points and held the visiting Notre Dame-Green Pond Crusaders to 25 in the Blue Bombers non-league triumph on Thursday.
The Blue Bombers now sport a 8-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Mount Carmel for a non-league contest on Monday, January 23. Palmerton will battle a RED TORNADOES team coming off a 49-44 league win over Southern Columbia Area (Catawissa, PA). The RED TORNADOES record now stands at 13-2.
The Crusaders (7-2) will now prepare for their contest against Northwestern Lehigh (New Tripoli, PA). The Tigers enter the non-league contest with a 8-0 record. In their last contest, Northwestern Lehigh ran past Moravian Academy (Bethlehem, PA), 51-26, in a non-league contest.
