The Staten Island Academy Tigers topped the visiting Notre Dame Irish basketball team by a final score of 66-52 in Thursday's non-league game.
In their next game, the Tigers face the St. John's Prep Red Storm (Astoria, NY) in a non-league game, on Saturday, January 21. Staten Island Academy will attempt to move on its 3-4 season record.
With the defeat, Notre Dame moves to 10-5 on the year. The Irish travel to West Windsor-Plainsboro North (Plainsboro, NJ) to face the Knights in a Colonial Valley - Colonial game on Friday, January 20. The Knights enter the game with a record of 2-7.
