The American Eagles basketball team (Fremont, CA), was overwhelmed 42-20 in Thursday's non-league battle with the host Granada Matadors (Livermore, CA)
The Matadors now possess a 11-7 record. They put it on the line next when they host California for a battle on Friday, January 20. Granada will confront a Grizzlies team coming off a 41-28 league loss to Dublin (Dublin, CA). The Grizzlies record now stands at 7-6.
The Eagles (6-10) will now prepare for their battle against Irvington (Fremont, CA). The Vikings come into the battle with a 3-7 record. In their last battle, Irvington was overwhelmed by Moreau Catholic (Hayward, CA), 37-18, in a league battle.
