Bartow Yellow Jackets (Bartow, FL) fans were pleased Thursday as they observed their soccer team triumph over the visiting Ridgeview Global Studies Academy Explorers (Davenport, FL), 7-0 in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Yellow Jackets confront the Fort Meade Miners (Fort Meade, FL) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, January 20. Bartow will attempt to better on its 12-5 season record. The Miners enter the challenge with a 7-10 record after their 3-0 non-league loss to Lakeland (Lakeland, FL).

The Explorers now have a 7-5 record.
