In Thursday's non-league battle, the visiting Edison Chargers soccer squad scored a close 2-1 win over the Fountain Valley Barons.
The Chargers (6-8) will now prepare for their battle against Corona del Mar (Newport Beach, CA). The Sea Kings go into the non-league battle with a 11-5 record. In their last battle, Corona del Mar was nudged by Huntington Beach (Huntington Beach, CA), 5-1, in a non-league battle.
