In Thursday's league outing, the Coastal Academy Stingrays (Oceanside, CA) basketball squad overwhelmed the host San Diego Jewish Academy Lions (San Diego, CA), by a count of 55-24.
The Stingrays (3-3) will now prepare for their outing against Guajome Park Academy (Vista, CA). The Frogs go into the outing with a 1-9 record. In their last outing, Guajome Park Academy was crushed by Classical Academy (Escondido, CA), 74-28, in a league outing.
The Lions now hold a 3-4 record. They play next when they host Christian for a non-league outing on Monday, January 23. San Diego Jewish Academy will clash with a Patriots squad coming off a 44-38 non-league loss to High Tech SD (San Diego, CA). The Patriots record now stands at 3-15.
