Venture Academy Mustangs (Stockton, CA) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the host Atwater Falcons (Atwater, CA), 66-43 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Venture Academy upgrades its record to 18-2 on the campaign. The Mustangs travel to Stone Ridge Christian (Merced, CA) to play the Knights in a Central California Athletic Alliance bout on Tuesday, January 23. The Knights come into the bout with a record of 16-6. Stone Ridge Christian won 85-32 in their recent league bout against Millennium (Tracy, CA)

Next up, the Falcons play the Buhach Colony Thunder (Atwater, CA) in a Central California Conference bout, on Monday, January 22. Atwater will attempt to upgrade on its 10-11 season record. The Thunder come into the bout with a 8-13 record after their 75-45 league loss to Merced (Merced, CA).
