The Parsons Vikings basketball team scored 46 points and held the visiting Baxter Springs Lions to 38 in the Vikings non-league triumph on Friday.
The Vikings now sport a 6-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Riverton for a non-league contest on Saturday, January 20. Parsons will battle a Rams team coming off a 60-57 non-league win over College Heights Christian (Joplin, MO). The Rams record now stands at 6-3.
The Lions (5-4) will now prepare for their contest against College Heights Christian (Joplin, MO). The Cougars enter the non-league contest with a 7-7 record. In their last contest, College Heights Christian was defeated by Riverton (Riverton, KS), 60-57, in a non-league contest.
