Minnesota High School Basketball - Wheaton can't hold off Benson

The Benson basketball team scored 59 points and held the host Wheaton Warriors to 57 in the non-league triumph on Friday.

The now sport a 8-8 record. They put it on the line next when they host Sauk Centre for a non-league contest on Tuesday, January 23. Benson will battle a Mainstreeters team coming off a 67-45 league win over Melrose (Melrose, MN). The Mainstreeters record now stands at 11-2.

The Warriors (5-9) will now prepare for their contest against Underwood (Underwood, MN). The Rockets enter the non-league contest with a 7-7 record.
