The Bridgeport Central Hilltoppers basketball team (Bridgeport, CT), was toppled 50-39 in Friday's league battle with the host Greenwich Cardinals (Greenwich, CT)
The Cardinals now possess a 2-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to New Canaan for a Fairfield County battle on Tuesday, January 23. Greenwich will confront a Rams team coming off a 70-55 league win over Warde (Fairfield, CT). The Rams record now stands at 4-5.
The Hilltoppers (2-6) will now prepare for their battle against Trumbull (Trumbull, CT). The Eagles come into the Fairfield County battle with a 9-1 record. In their last battle, Trumbull beat Wilton (Wilton, CT), 76-51, in a league battle.
