The Reno County HomeSchool Sabres basketball team scored 42 points and held the host Chaparral Roadrunners to 39 in the Sabres non-league triumph on Friday.

The Sabres now sport a 10-7 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Clearwater for a non-league contest on Saturday, January 20. Reno County HomeSchool will meet a Indians team coming off a 65-49 non-league win over Belle Plaine (Belle Plaine, KS). The Indians record now stands at 3-7.

The Roadrunners (0-10) will now prepare for their contest against Belle Plaine (Belle Plaine, KS). The Dragons enter the non-league contest with a 4-5 record. In their last contest, Belle Plaine was nudged by Clearwater (Clearwater, KS), 65-49, in a non-league game.
