The Ichabod Crane Riders basketball team scored 53 points and held the visiting Cohoes Tigers to 50 in the Riders league triumph on Friday.

The Riders now sport a 9-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Berlin/New Lebanon for a non-league contest on Monday, January 22. Ichabod Crane will battle a Mountain Lions team coming off a 63-36 league loss to Taconic Hills (Craryville, NY). The Mountain Lions record now stands at 2-9.

The Tigers (5-9) will now prepare for their contest against Lansingburgh (Troy, NY). The Knights enter the Section 2 Colonial - Liberty contest with a 11-4 record. In their last contest, Lansingburgh nudged Stillwater (Stillwater, NY), 62-53, in a non-league contest.
