Indiana High School Basketball - Muncie Burris trounced by Cowan

January 19, 2024: Muncie, IN 47306

The Cowan Blackhawks routed the host Muncie Burris Owls basketball team by a final score of 76-50 in Friday's non-league game.

In their next game, the Blackhawks face the Seton Catholic Cardinals (Richmond, IN) in a non-league game, on Saturday, January 20. Cowan will attempt to move on its 4-7 season record. The Cardinals enter the game with a 10-4 record after their 67-57 league win over Liberty Christian (Anderson, IN).

With the defeat, Muncie Burris moves to 1-8 on the year. The Owls host South Adams (Berne, IN) to face the Starfires in a non-league game on Saturday, January 20. The Starfires enter the game with a record of 1-11. South Adams lost 54-19 in their recent league game against Jay County (Portland, IN)
