Fans at Friday's league challenge between the Duchesne Eagles (Duchesne, UT) and the host North Sevier Wolves (Salina, UT), saw Duchesne's basketball squad hold off North Sevier by a tally of 37-35.

With the victory, Duchesne improves its record to 9-7 on the campaign. The Eagles travel to North Summit (Coalville, UT) to play the Braves in a 2A Region 15 challenge on Friday, January 26. The Braves come into the challenge with a record of 12-5.

Next up, the Wolves play the Kanab Cowboys (Kanab, UT) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, January 23. North Sevier will attempt to improve on its 3-11 season record. The Cowboys come into the challenge with a 12-5 record after their 68-64 league loss to South Sevier (Monroe, UT).
