The Duncan Demons basketball team (Duncan, OK), was overwhelmed 70-40 in Friday's non-league battle with the visiting East Central Cardinals (Tulsa, OK)
The Cardinals now possess a 4-7 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Grove for a 5A District 3 battle on Tuesday, January 23. East Central will confront a Ridgerunners team coming off a 37-35 non-league loss to Kansas (Kansas, OK). The Ridgerunners record now stands at 3-9.
The Demons (1-14) will now prepare for their battle against Verdigris (Claremore, OK). The Cardinals come into the non-league battle with a 4-11 record. In their last battle, Verdigris was overwhelmed by Plainview (Ardmore, OK), 65-55, in a non-league battle.
