El Reno Indians (El Reno, OK) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the visiting Southeast Spartans (Oklahoma City, OK), 88-57 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, El Reno upgrades its record to 9-4 on the campaign. The Indians travel to Shawnee (Shawnee, OK) to play the Wolves in a 5A District 1 bout on Saturday, January 20. The Wolves come into the bout with a record of 6-7. Shawnee won 57-49 in their recent non-league bout against Tahlequah (Tahlequah, OK)

Next up, the Spartans play the MacArthur Highlanders (Lawton, OK) in a 5A District 2 bout, on Friday, January 26. Southeast will attempt to upgrade on its 3-9 season record.
