The North Valley Knights basketball team scored 54 points and restricted the visiting Glide Wildcats to 40 in the Knights league victory on Friday.

The Knights now sport a 7-8 record. They put it on the line next when they host Douglas for a 3A Far West contest on Saturday, January 20. North Valley will battle a Trojans team coming off a 73-41 league win over Brookings-Harbor (Brookings, OR). The Trojans record now stands at 13-3.

The Wildcats (4-11) will now prepare for their contest against Rogue River (Rogue River, OR). The Chieftains come into the 3A Far West contest with a 1-12 record. In their last contest, Rogue River was defeated by Sutherlin (Sutherlin, OR), 43-39, in a league contest.
