The Whitehall Railroaders basketball team scored 69 points and held the host Hadley Luzerne Eagles to 61 in the Railroaders league triumph on Friday.

The Railroaders now sport a 9-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Ticonderoga for a non-league contest on Monday, January 22. Whitehall will meet a Sentinels team coming off a 51-21 non-league loss to Moriah (Port Henry, NY). The Sentinels record now stands at 3-7.

The Eagles (3-11) will now prepare for their contest against Duanesburg (Delanson, NY). The Eagles enter the non-league contest with a 13-2 record. In their last contest, Duanesburg ran past Oppenheim-Ephratah/St. Johnsville (St. Johnsville, NY), 88-38, in a league contest.
