Haskell Haymakers (Haskell, OK) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Newkirk Tigers (Newkirk, OK), 73-35 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Haskell upgrades its record to 6-8 on the season. The Haymakers travel to Mounds (Mounds, OK) to clash with the Golden Eagles in a non-league bout on Saturday, January 20. The Golden Eagles go into the bout with a record of 5-9. Mounds won 64-42 in their recent non-league bout against Porter (Porter, OK)

Next up, the Tigers clash with the Perry Maroons (Perry, OK) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, January 23. Newkirk will attempt to upgrade on its 1-13 season record. The Maroons go into the bout with a 4-12 record after their 47-30 non-league win over Clinton (Clinton, OK).
