In Friday's league outing, the Mascoma Royals (Canaan, NH) basketball squad overwhelmed the host Hillsboro-Deering Hillcats (Hillsboro, NH), by a margin of 63-33.

The Royals (8-1) will now prepare for their outing against Newfound Regional (Bristol, NH). The Bears go into the Division III outing with a 1-9 record. In their last outing, Newfound Regional was trounced by St. Thomas Aquinas (Dover, NH), 77-31, in a league outing.

The Hillcats now own a 2-8 record. They play next when they host Stevens for a Division III outing on Monday, January 22. Hillsboro-Deering will clash with a Cardinals squad coming off a 56-54 league loss to Kearsarge (North Sutton, NH). The Cardinals record now stands at 3-8.
