In Friday's league outing, the Queensbury Spartans (Queensbury, NY) basketball squad overwhelmed the visiting Johnstown Sir Bills (Johnstown, NY), by a margin of 61-38.
The Spartans (5-9) will now prepare for their outing against Glens Falls (Glens Falls, NY). The Indians go into the Section 2 Foothills outing with a 16-0 record. In their last outing, Glens Falls smashed Schalmont (Schenectady, NY), 90-64, in a non-league outing.
The Sir Bills now own a 6-7 record. They play next when they host Gloversville for a Section 2 Foothills outing on Tuesday, January 23. Johnstown will clash with a Huskies/Dragons squad coming off a 55-43 league win over Amsterdam (Amsterdam, NY). The Huskies/Dragons record now stands at 9-6.
