The Mumford Mustangs basketball team (Detroit, MI), was overwhelmed 62-37 in Friday's league battle with the visiting King Crusaders (Detroit, MI)
The Crusaders now possess a 11-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Northview for a non-league battle on Saturday, January 20. King will battle a Wildcats team coming off a 61-35 non-league win over East Grand Rapids (Grand Rapids, MI). The Wildcats record now stands at 10-0.
The Mustangs (1-9) will now prepare for their battle against Western International (Detroit, MI). The Cowboys come into the Detroit Public I battle with a 6-7 record. In their last battle, Western International trounced Harper Woods (Harper Woods, MI), 51-41, in a non-league battle.
