The Lincoln-Way East Griffins (Frankfort, IL) basketball felled the visiting Stagg Chargers (Palos Hills, IL), 60-50 in Friday's non-league test.
The Griffins (13-5) will now prepare for their test against Clark (Chicago, IL). The Eagles go into the non-league test with a 10-8 record. In their last test, Clark was beaten by Taft (Chicago, IL), 60-54, in a league test.
The Chargers now own a 13-8 record. They play next when they travel to Sandburg for a non-league test on Tuesday, January 23. Stagg will encounter a Eagles squad coming off a 52-48 non-league win over Lincoln-Way West (New Lenox, IL). The Eagles record now stands at 10-10.
