Winthrop Ramblers (Winthrop, ME) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host Madison Bulldogs (Madison, ME), 40-36 in a league bout.

With the win, Winthrop upgrades its record to 7-5 on the season. The Ramblers travel to Traip (Kittery, ME) to play the Rangers in a C South bout on Monday, January 22. The Rangers go into the bout with a record of 3-8. Traip lost 70-61 in their recent league bout against Sacopee Valley (Cornish, ME)

Next up, the Bulldogs play the Spruce Mountain Phoenix (Jay, ME) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, January 23. Madison will attempt to upgrade on its 6-4 season record.
