The Morgan Huskies (Clinton, CT) basketball knocked off the visiting Old Lyme Wildcats (Old Lyme, CT), 49-34 in Friday's league test.
The Huskies (8-1) will now prepare for their test against Waterford (Waterford, CT). The Lancers go into the non-league test with a 5-4 record. In their last test, Waterford went down by Wheeler (North Stonington, CT), 67-62, in a non-league test.
The Wildcats now own a 7-4 record. They play next when they travel to East Hampton for a Shoreline test on Tuesday, January 23. Old Lyme will encounter a Bellringers squad coming off a 65-61 league win over Portland (Portland, CT). The Bellringers record now stands at 6-6.
