In Friday's league outing, the North Douglas (Drain, OR) basketball squad overwhelmed the host Powers Cruisers (Powers, OR), by a margin of 72-42.
The (13-4) will now prepare for their outing against Camas Valley (Camas Valley, OR). The Hornets go into the 1A Skyline outing with a 12-5 record. In their last outing, Camas Valley smashed Riddle (Riddle, OR), 75-50, in a league outing.
The Cruisers now own a 3-12 record. They play next when they travel to Umpqua Valley Christian for a 1A Skyline outing on Saturday, January 20. Powers will clash with a Monarchs squad coming off a 60-16 league win over Glendale (Glendale, OR). The Monarchs record now stands at 6-11.
