The St. Helena College and Career Academy Hawks basketball team scored 69 points and restricted the host Northlake Christian Wolverines to 55 in the Hawks league victory on Friday.
The Hawks now sport a 6-9 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Collins for a non-league contest on Saturday, January 20. St. Helena College and Career Academy will battle a Tigers team coming off a 69-44 league win over Heidelberg (Heidelberg, MS). The Tigers record now stands at 12-4.
The Wolverines (8-14) will now prepare for their contest against Independence (Independence, LA). The Tigers come into the 2A District 7 contest with a 4-10 record. In their last contest, Independence was defeated by French Settlement (French Settlement, LA), 86-34, in a league contest.
