Alaska High School Basketball - South Anchorage can't hold off Thunder Mountain

The Thunder Mountain Falcons basketball team scored 60 points and held the host South Anchorage Wolverines to 55 in the Falcons non-league triumph on Friday.

The Falcons now sport a 9-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Eagle River for a non-league contest on Saturday, January 20. Thunder Mountain will battle a Wolves team coming off a 60-54 non-league win over Ketchikan (Ketchikan, AK). The Wolves record now stands at 2-8.

The Wolverines (5-6) will now prepare for their contest against Bettye Davis East Anchorage (Anchorage, AK). The Thunderbirds enter the 4A Cook Inlet contest with a 9-1 record. In their last contest, Bettye Davis East Anchorage was nudged by St. Joseph (Santa Maria, CA), 74-47, in a non-league contest.
