Iowa High School Basketball - Sumner-Fredericksburg nips South Hardin

Sumner-Fredericksburg Cougars (Sumner, IA) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host South Hardin Tigers (Eldora, IA), 76-70 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Sumner-Fredericksburg upgrades its record to 5-7 on the season. The Cougars travel to Oelwein (Oelwein, IA) to play the Huskies in a North Iowa Cedar - East bout on Monday, January 22. The Huskies go into the bout with a record of 4-9. Oelwein won 74-40 in their recent non-league bout against AGWSR (Ackley, IA)
Next up, the Tigers play the Gladbrook-Reinbeck Rebels (Reinbeck, IA) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, January 20. South Hardin will attempt to upgrade on its 4-8 season record. The Rebels go into the bout with a 9-3 record after their 81-78 non-league loss to Denver (Denver, IA).
