St. Martin's Episcopal Saints (Metairie, LA) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the visiting Varnado Wildcats (Angie, LA), 66-30 in a league bout.

With the victory, St. Martin's Episcopal upgrades its record to 15-4 on the campaign. The Saints travel to De La Salle (New Orleans, LA) to play the Cavalier in a non-league bout on Saturday, January 20. The Cavalier come into the bout with a record of 10-12.

Next up, the Wildcats play the Franklinton Demons (Franklinton, LA) in a non-league bout, on Wednesday, January 24. Varnado will attempt to upgrade on its 5-11 season record.
