California High School Basketball - University can't hold off Portola

The Portola Bulldogs basketball team scored 46 points and held the visiting University Trojans to 41 in the Bulldogs league triumph on Friday.
The Bulldogs now sport a 14-7 record. They put it on the line next when they host Irvine for a contest on Monday, January 22. Portola will battle a Vaqueros team coming off a 70-42 league loss to Beckman (Irvine, CA). The Vaqueros record now stands at 1-4.
The Trojans (9-5) will now prepare for their contest against Sage Hill (Newport Beach, CA). The Lightning enter the contest with a 0-4 record. In their last contest, Sage Hill was nudged by Beckman (Irvine, CA), 73-18, in a league contest.
