Anacoco Indians (Anacoco, LA) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the visiting Plainview Hornets (Glenmora, LA), 59-46 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Anacoco upgrades its record to 27-4 on the campaign. The Indians travel to Oak Hill (Hineston, LA) to play the Rams in a B District 4 bout on Tuesday, January 23. The Rams come into the bout with a record of 22-12. Oak Hill won 78-49 in their recent league bout against Elizabeth (Elizabeth, LA)

Next up, the Hornets play the Mamou Demons (Mamou, LA) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, January 25. Plainview will attempt to upgrade on its 11-16 season record.
