With the win, Avant Garde Academy upgrades its record to 1-9 on the season. The Sharks travel to Franklin Academy (Pembroke Pines, FL) to clash with the Panthers in a non-league bout on Thursday, January 25. The Panthers go into the bout with a record of 0-0.

Next up, the Crusaders clash with the Donna Klein Jewish Academy Eagles (Boca Raton, FL) in a 2A District 15 bout, on Tuesday, January 23. Dade Christian will attempt to upgrade on its 0-6 season record. The Eagles go into the bout with a 5-3 record after their 69-23 non-league win over Don Soffer Aventura (Aventura, FL).
