In Friday's non-league outing, the Colcord Hornets (Colcord, OK) basketball squad edged the host Berryhill Chiefs (Tulsa, OK), by a margin of 46-45.
The Hornets (3-8) will now prepare for their outing against Fairland (Fairland, OK). The Owls go into the Lucky Seven outing with a 6-7 record. In their last outing, Fairland held off Claremore (Claremore, OK), 36-29, in a non-league outing.
The Chiefs now own a 6-9 record. They play next when they host Mannford for a Tulsa Seven outing on Tuesday, January 23. Berryhill will clash with a Pirates squad coming off a 64-16 non-league win over Tonkawa (Tonkawa, OK). The Pirates record now stands at 12-2.
