Valley Cavaliers (Bingham, ME) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball team smash the host Buckfield Bucks (Buckfield, ME), 81-21 in a non-league game.

In their next game, the Cavaliers face the Temple Academy Bereans (Waterville, ME) in a D South game, on Tuesday, January 23. Valley will attempt to move on its 13-0 season record. The Bereans enter the game with a 4-7 record after their 35-30 league loss to North Haven (North Haven, ME).

With the defeat, Buckfield moves to 4-6 on the year. The Bucks host Richmond (Richmond, ME) to face the Bobcats in a C South game on Monday, January 22. The Bobcats enter the game with a record of 8-2.
