Classical Magnet Gladiators (Hartford, CT) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Capital Prep Trailblazers (Hartford, CT), 51-48 in a league bout.

With the win, Classical Magnet upgrades its record to 5-2 on the season. The Gladiators travel to Weaver (Hartford, CT) to play the Beavers in a Capitol Region bout on Tuesday, January 23. The Beavers go into the bout with a record of 3-5.

Next up, the Trailblazers play the Hillhouse Academics (New Haven, CT) in a non-league bout, on Wednesday, January 24. Capital Prep will attempt to upgrade on its 1-6 season record.
