The Coalgate Wildcats basketball team scored 42 points and restricted the visiting Strother Yellowjackets to 30 in the Wildcats non-league victory on Friday.

The Wildcats now sport a 3-10 record. They put it on the line next when they host Weleetka for a non-league contest on Saturday, January 20. Coalgate will battle a Outlaws team coming off a 38-34 non-league win over Tishomingo (Tishomingo, OK). The Outlaws record now stands at 12-3.

The Yellowjackets (6-10) will now prepare for their contest against New Lima (New Lima, OK). The Falcons come into the Little River contest with a 8-13 record. In their last contest, New Lima prevailed over Macomb (Macomb, OK), 65-33, in a league contest.
