In Friday's non-league outing, the Commerce Tigers (Commerce, OK) basketball squad edged the visiting Miami Wardogs (Miami, OK), by a count of 37-32.
The Tigers (7-5) will now prepare for their outing against Hillcrest (Springfield, MO). The Hornets go into the non-league outing with a 8-7 record. In their last outing, Hillcrest held off Chouteau-Mazie (Chouteau, OK), 46-37, in a non-league outing.
The Wardogs now hold a 3-7 record. They play next when they host Jay for a Verdigris Valley outing on Tuesday, January 23. Miami will clash with a Bulldogs squad coming off a 43-32 non-league loss to Kansas (Kansas, OK). The Bulldogs record now stands at 3-10.
