In their next game, the Green Wave encounter the Southern Lab Kittens (Baton Rouge, LA) in a non-league test, on Saturday, January 20. Ponchatoula will attempt to advance on its 16-10 season record. The Kittens go into the test with a 16-5 record after their 67-12 league win over Slaughter Community Charter (Slaughter, LA).

The Lions now own a 4-11 record. They play next when they host St. Helena College and Career Academy for a non-league test on Monday, January 22. Covington will encounter a Hawks squad coming off a 49-46 league win over Northlake Christian (Covington, LA). The Hawks record now stands at 5-3.
