Kaiser Cats (Fontana, CA) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Fontana Steelers (Fontana, CA), 39-33 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Kaiser upgrades its record to 9-12 on the season. The Cats host Summit (Fontana, CA) to play the SkyHawks in a Sunkist bout on Wednesday, January 24. The SkyHawks go into the bout with a record of 12-10. Summit won 73-38 in their recent league bout against Eisenhower (Rialto, CA)

Next up, the Steelers play the San Gorgonio Spartans (San Bernardino, CA) in a San Andreas bout, on Tuesday, January 23. Fontana will attempt to upgrade on its 19-5 season record. The Spartans go into the bout with a 10-9 record after their 50-41 league win over Arroyo Valley (San Bernardino, CA).
