Holmes County Blue Devils (Bonifay, FL) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the visiting Marianna Bulldogs (Marianna, FL), 49-35 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Holmes County upgrades its record to 9-7 on the campaign. The Blue Devils host Graceville (Graceville, FL) to play the Tigers in a non-league bout on Monday, January 22. The Tigers come into the bout with a record of 15-1. Graceville won 42-37 in their recent non-league bout against Geneva (Geneva, AL)

Next up, the Bulldogs play the Poplar Springs Atomics (Graceville, FL) in a non-league bout, on Monday, January 22. Marianna will attempt to upgrade on its 8-7 season record.
