The Western Branch Bruins basketball team (Chesapeake, VA), was nudged 49-43 in Friday's league battle with the visiting Indian River Braves (Chesapeake, VA)
The Braves now possess a 8-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Nansemond River for a Southeastern battle on Tuesday, January 23.
The Bruins (8-7) will now prepare for their battle against Oscar Smith (Chesapeake, VA). The Tigers come into the Southeastern battle with a 7-7 record. In their last battle, Oscar Smith was nudged by Grassfield (Chesapeake, VA), 38-33, in a league battle.
