Connecticut High School Basketball - Simsbury can't hold off Middletown

The Middletown Blue Dragons basketball team scored 37 points and held the visiting Simsbury Trojans to 30 in the Blue Dragons non-league triumph on Friday.
The Blue Dragons now sport a 8-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host New Britain for a non-league contest on Monday, January 22. Middletown will battle a Golden Hurricanes team coming off a 71-42 non-league loss to Edwin O. Smith (Storrs, CT). The Golden Hurricanes record now stands at 2-8.
The Trojans (12-1) will now prepare for their contest against Windsor (Windsor, CT). The Warriors enter the non-league contest with a 7-6 record. In their last contest, Windsor nudged Somers (Somers, CT), 64-43, in a non-league contest.
