Tri-Unity Christian Defenders (Wyoming, MI) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Orchard View Cardinals (Muskegon, MI), 39-21 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Tri-Unity Christian upgrades its record to 2-4 on the season. The Defenders travel to Saugatuck (Saugatuck, MI) to play the Trailblazers in a non-league bout on Monday, January 22. The Trailblazers go into the bout with a record of 8-1. Saugatuck won 47-31 in their recent league bout against Black River (Holland, MI)

Next up, the Cardinals play the Montague Wildcats (Montague, MI) in a Western Michigan - Lakes bout, on Tuesday, January 23. Orchard View will attempt to upgrade on its 3-6 season record. The Wildcats go into the bout with a 1-8 record after their 58-32 non-league loss to Hart (Hart, MI).
